gifts at the grocery store for my composting

Today was "restocking the shelves" day at the grocery store. There, in front of my eyes, was all this cardboard. No paint on it. Just perfect. Once upon a time the cardboard was a box filled with food. Now, with permission from the manager, it will be the basis of my new flower beds next Spring. I will put it on the lawn in designated areas, with about 4 inches of leaves (good way to use them), followed by 2 inches of top soil. Next Spring, I'll spade this all up and be ready to plant. Everyday can be a gardening day!
